Using social media to expand brand awareness and bolster a marketing campaign

DiagnosTechs is a medical test laboratory providing home and provider testing for cortisol levels, hormone levels, stress management, and heavy metals. DiagnosTechs was the first laboratory to introduce saliva testing for cortisol into routine practice. Building on that innovation, they now supply non-invasive test panels for a range of criteria.

Rebuilding online presence

As part of a comprehensive marketing campaign, D2 rebuilt DiagnosTechs’ social media presence with the goal of expanding brand awareness, re-engaging existing customers, and promoting their expanded options of innovative home test kits to the direct-to-consumer market.

D2 developed social media branding, templates, and an editorial calendar outlining the various tests, Diagnostechs’ ongoing commitment to innovation and research, and promoting both test-specific content, and industry-driven information to promote health and wellness. D2 curated content and managed the social media posts and analytics, driving an increase of 120% in followers on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

D2 manages DiagnosTechs’ social media analytics and provides competitive analysis to measure which posts perform best and what content resonates with their clients/followers. We also benchmark their social media performance against key competitors in the same market segment to best position DiagnosTechs’ content and product portfolio.

Results

DiagnosTechs’ social media presence has continued to grow and we trained internal staff to provide ongoing regular updates, which have solidified their online presence and increased engagement with followers and bi-directional communication with clients, prospects, and supporters. DiagnosTechs is now positioning their company for a strong direct-to-consumer campaign using the baseline created, and positioning their new products for a strong go-to-market campaign.
