We flew to the Oregon coast to meet with the owner of a food producer that didn’t even have a name yet. We spent a week learning everything we could about their company, their products, and their ethos. Using what we knew about the client’s focus on unprocessed, natural, locally-sourced foods, we pinned down Pure Wild Oregon as the company’s new moniker.

With the name established, we turned our attention to creating a unique, recognizable brand mark. Colors, type, materials – all had to reflect the personality and goals of the Pure Wild Oregon we’ve come to know and represent. Our final guidelines described a visual identity that evokes the rustic and unburdened Oregonian personality. Unstructured graphics, warm earth tones, splashes of watercolor paint and sweeping landscapes embody the brand’s personality and focus on the simple joys of great food.
