Marketing Manager

About the role:

As a Marketing Manager you will be creating integrated campaigns to drive client goals. You will work with and report performance to clients, design and run tests, and manage the coordinator who will be responsible for timely trafficking of ads between D2, partner groups, and clients to ensure that ads are made to the right specifications and delivered before the deadline.

In addition to managing active ads and campaigns, some on-site changes to content may be needed at client request. Coding not required, but basic editing skills and knowledge of proper grammar is needed, so double-check those resumes.

This role may have a direct-report so the ideal candidate will have an ability to successfully guide and mentor someone in the early stages of their career as well. Ideally the candidate has the following:

  • 3-5 years’ experience planning and managing integrated media campaigns combining some or all the following:
    • Planning and executing buys with traditional channels like print, radio, TV, out-of-home, and more.
    • Managing paid search campaigns with working knowledge of best practices and optimization techniques. Preferably includes experience with campaigns exceeding $20,000-50,000 per month.
    • Managing programmatic display and retargeting campaigns across search, social, and display networks, and understanding the dynamic landscape of the RTB networks.
    • Experience working with web analytics and marketing analytics platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo, etc.
    • Working knowledge of SEO and can implement basic on-page best practices, and can communicate with subject matter experts about what needs to be done to help clients achieve goals.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (public speaking/presentations and or leading conference calls are common)
  • Ability and willingness to work with the business development team to identify areas of opportunity for business growth.
  • Near-mastery levels of knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong familiarity with tracking systems, tags, tag managers, and data layers, or at least an understanding of how to plan tracking systems while developers implement

In addition, it will be very beneficial if you have experience in Photoshop and other Adobe Suite products like InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

Bachelor degrees in Business, Marketing, Computer Sciences are preferred.

Designer

About the Role:

Working as a member of the creative team, you will be responsible for creating designs for a variety of projects, including digital and print advertising, presentation decks, digital signage, websites and website banners, packaging, logos, trade show booths and other projects as clients specify to meet their branding criteria. You will need to be comfortable with the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Microsoft Office, along with an understanding of HTML/CSS and cross-client rendering for the creation of email newsletters. Feel free to “wow” us with your Excel and PowerPoint skills, because they may be needed. Familiarity with coding and tagging is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative director, art director and marketing team to help provide high impact design solutions for our clients.
  • Work with the media/marketing team to create ads to media specifications, sometimes under tight deadlines.
  • Do research to help facilitate stock imagery and marketing campaign components.
  • Develop and maintain visual marketing content that supports client and company needs.

Requirements

  • Expert in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop, and InDesign. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and HTML 5.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and take instructions from the Creative Director
  • Ability to keep healthy working relationships within our organization
  • 3-5 years professional experience in graphic design
  • Demonstrated ability in WordPress and other cms
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred

Qualifications

  • Passion for design, color, and other forms of visual communication
  • A keen eye for and love of typography and typesetting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable, honest, and with a positive outlook
  • Ability to work under time constraints and juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in an environment in which priorities and deadlines change frequently
  • Portfolio that shows strong design and layout skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in partnership with the creative team
  • Ability to think independently, take direction, follow instructions, and accept critique
  • A keen awareness of deadlines and a strong desire to meet them

Nice to have

  • Experience in Javascript a plus
  • Experience in a Marketing/Sales organization a plus
  • Experience creating static and graphic digital ads that comply with IAB standards

Marketing & Media Coordinator

About the role:

As the Marketing & Media Coordinator you will be directly responsible for implementing, deploying, trafficking, and reporting on campaign and ad performance on a variety of channels, and working with numerous vendors internally and externally to ensure everyone is working cohesively as a team. You are the backbone to a successful campaign by translating the marketing manager’s requests into actions and ensuring things are done effectively.

While supporting client activities with external vendors, you will also actively be managing elements of campaigns like paid search, SEO efforts, social media efforts, and others as clients have the occasional one-off asks for research or idea development.
